Adventure further up
From PenguinWiki
Steep and stony, the path seemed almost vertical. She needed hands and feet to save herself from slipping but managed to inch up to a level patch of grass. Beyond, the way was almost invisible, just a light imprint in the grass. Who would use such a track anyway? Sheep perhaps, foxes.
From where she stood she could look back down through the trees to the village. Onwards the sky was clearing a little and she caught a glimpse of the next valley. To her left, though, she noticed a branching track, surprisingly with traces of gravel and the broken remains of what might have been a fence - and even perhaps a gate hinge. She turned up the new path, intrigued, and followed its curves zigzagging on to a great yew tree standing alone near the crest. The path flattened out and there was a grey stone wall. She might bring the tent up here for more safety, she thought.
