Bernard Matthews, full name Bernard Von Vaspim Tantletin Matthews, was once the owner of a major turkey farm. A bird-flu scare meant that the entirety of his stock had to be culled. This upset Bernard greatly and he suspected something might be awry. After much investigation, it turned out that this "scare" was orchestrated by a group of extremist animal rights activists campaigning to put an end to his business. The activists were charged with terrorism and intention to destroy goods and property. see killer penguins
