Mikhael Vladlen Lomotsov is a dark and menacing figure. He oozes sweat and anyone with any streets smarts knows the moment they see him that crossing him or even making him angry in any way would probably be a deadly mistake. He is a ludicrously wealthy and opulant new russian, one of the most feared and respected underworld figures in Riga. He is engaged in several ongoing "business ventures", some "higher risk" than others. Originally he was assasinated in the opening scene of the novel by a bomb planted in the neo but the story seems to have taken a different turn... From about the age of 17, he threw in his lot with undercord, for whom he has garnered international infamy. He goes through bundles of white shirts every year (you'll never see him without one on). The blood-splattered ones he has been forced to give to thrift stores.
