"That was a close call," you say as you turn to look at ensign Orlag. "I'm going after him Orlag. He has to pay for this. Are you coming?"

Orlag ended up drug-running for much the same reason you did - fate. Orlag had a promising career in the military, but he wasn't getting paid enough, and was impatient to be promoted. Members of the Vagorn fleet are notoriously under-compensated, and he had a family to feed. He was only here for the money, not because he had any strong political opinions.

"OK," he said, "I'll watch your back." The two headed towards the only escape pod to confront the commander.
