The Tango Poisoner was a character that used to exist here on the first day. He disappeared, but I had already written him into me yarn. So fuck it. I'm bringing him back from the dead.
You would not want to dance with The Tango Poisoner.
Raised in the favellas of Rio, The Tango Poisoner survived first by watching and learning from his peers and doing what he was told.
While he was happy to live out his life in the confines of Brazil's criminal underworld at first, as he became slightly more wealthy and well read he began to learn of and yearn for the world outside his own.
When a rival gang slaughtered most of those which he had held dear, he was motivated to put his dreams into action. He uncovered his crew's stash of loot and coke, and ran.
Traveling by bus, he spent the next four months moving around South America soaking up as much of the various cultures he could.
His love of dance began when he met a petite German woman in her mid- thirties by the name of Helena who took a shine to his cheeky smile and invited him to join her to dance in a small studio by the sea in Chile. After a steamy but short love affair the two where separated in a crowded market and have never managed to find each other since.
He began to search for her in the only place he could think off, all the dance floors of South America, followed by the rest of the world. After years of dancing and searching for her he eventually stopped looking for her, but had been dancing for so long that it was all he had left in life. He is skilled in all forms of dance from Capoera through to the Waltz, but is widely regarded as the worlds master of the tango.
The bitterness of his loss welling up inside of him he returned to Rio at the age of twenty two, killing all those involved in the deaths of his childhood friends before joining the police force out of boredom and poverty.
He rose quickly through the ranks and was given more and more advanced training in tactical warfare. He is more than competent with firearms, explosives, blades and was selected to join the secret police unit "The fifth choice" a unit renowned for it's brutal executions and assassinations. It was in this unit that he was given advanced training in the use of poisons, the advantages of his good looks and dance skills not lost on those who plot and scheme for power in Brazil's notoriously corrupt government.
After serving in the unit for a full three years he had a dream of Helena one night and disappeared the following morning. He has current arrest warrant's with the FBI, Interpol, French police, Australian federal police and of course his former masters want him dead as well.
He is the worlds most highly sought assassin, both by those seeking to capture or kill him and those who wish to employ him. These people are often one in the same.
